Therapeutic Integration & Intensive Therapeutic Integration – After School Program

Program Overview

Our Therapeutic Integration and Intensive Therapeutic Integration programs are after-school services designed for adolescents and young adults who benefit from structured, supportive environments that promote social, emotional, and functional growth.

What to expect

We use expressive therapies—including art, music, dance, and movement—to help our participants build communication and social skills in a fun, engaging way. Whether we’re painting a canvas, singing in circle time, or playing a board game like Uno or Candy Land, our focus is on encouraging cooperation, turn-taking, and group interaction.

Our center includes multiple interactive rooms tailored to meet a variety of needs:
  • A sensory room with swings, music, and calming lights where participants can decompress and self-regulate.
  • A kitchen space for enjoying snacks together and engaging in simple cooking activities that support independence and daily living skills.
  • Dedicated areas for fine motor activities like puzzles, crafts, and hands-on art projects that also promote creativity and hand-eye coordination.

Each day includes a lively circle time with singing, dancing, and structured activities that wrap up with calming breathing exercises and yoga to end the day feeling grounded and centered.

Staff Support Ratio

We offer small group ratios (3:1) to ensure meaningful support, and 1:1 support is available for clients who require more individualized attention.

Our program is staffed by experienced professionals who are passionate about creating safe, inclusive spaces where our clients can thrive. In addition to expressive and social skills, we work on important daily living skills that foster independence and confidence.
